Although there was a lot of controversy, it truly was a fun and amazing Contest to look back on.

Well done to Malmö as a host city, to the broadcasters, and to all 25 entries.

BUT, the biggest congratulations goes to Switzerland's winner, Nemo for their incredible performance. I have no doubt we'll all be bopping along to this song for days to come.

Next year, we head off to Switzerland for Eurovision 2025 woohoo.

They get a big round of applause.

One of the questions they are asked is about how they see their career in the future.

"I'm honestly just thinking about tonight, and that's more than enough," they said.

"Tomorrow I will wake up and it'll be a new day."

Someone then says to Nemo that they are the first non-binary person to win Eurovision. How does it make you feel?

"It makes me incredibly proud, not for me, but our whole community who are daring to be themselves."

And I love this line from Nemo:

"To hear my name next to Celine Dion...what the heck!"

They also addressed the controversies surrounding the competition over the last week, including the protests and Joost Klein's disqualification. 

"This whole experience was really intense, and not pleasant all the way. There were a lot of things that didn't seem like it was all about love and unity, and that made me really sad."

They added: "I really hope that Eurovision can continue to stand for peace and love in the future, and I think that needs a lot of work still."

I'm a little overcome with emotion, I am so happy for Nemo — truly, truly well deserved. 

I was deep down hoping for Croatia to get the win, but Switzerland was always a close second for me.

They are the first non-binary singer to win the contest, and they wowed the audience with their performance of The Code — a pop, opera, and rap tune all about self-discovery.

Switzerland's win ends a contest that has been shrouded in controversy due to protests over the Israel-Gaza war, and the disqualification of Dutch contestant Joost Klein over an incident with a female member of the production crew.

Nemo has made the walk from the green room to the stage.

Loreen has handed over the Eurovision trophy to Nemo and they go off to get ready to sing their song again.

"Thank you, I hope this contest can live up to its promise and continue to stand up for peace," Nemo says.

Who doesn't love being treated to a second slice of pie? But I don't know how they'll manage to sing again, Nemo was overwhelmed with emotion.

They needed 183 points to win and they got WELL OVER 200!! 

THEY HAVE WON EUROVISION WITH A TOTAL OF 591 POINTS!
