Meanwhile, demonstrations in opposition to the biennial Land Forces expo continue in Melbourne for a second day.
Blocked off from the venue, protesters instead marched down Flinders St in the CBD, chanting and holding signs calling for an embargo on arms exports.
Yesterday a large cohort of those in attendance at the protest were pro-Palestinian and anti-war groups, carrying signs calling for an end to armed conflict in Gaza.

Israeli forces killed at least six Palestinians in separate incidents in the occupied West Bank on Wednesday, as troops continued an extended operation against militant groups in the territory, the military said.
An airstrike in the city of Tubas killed five men the military said were armed with explosives that posed a threat to Israeli forces and destroyed weapons production facilities as well as a vehicle rigged with explosives and a remote control.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said rescue crews had recovered five bodies at the site and had transferred them to hospital.
In a separate incident in the city of Tulkarm, the military said troops backed by police and intelligence services killed an armed militant.
There was no immediate confirmation from any of the armed Palestinian factions that the men killed in the operation were their fighters.

This is the location of the Nuseirat refugee camp, where the UN-run al-Jaouni Preparatory Boys School and UNRWA shelter was hit with an air strike.
Here is some video footage of the aftermath at the school that was struck in Nuseirat, central Gaza.
Here's what each side has said about the events:
The deaths of the six UNRWA workers mark the "single deadliest day" in the agency's history, says Bill Deere, UNRWA Washington director.
"What you saw here today is another representation of what we think is seemingly no bottom to this tragedy," Deere told ABC News.
"All told, we have lost 220 of our colleagues to date to this conflict that also makes it the deadliest conflict in UN history in terms of casualties from UN staff loss perspective."
Deere said the school which was hit with air strikes was set up as a UNRWA emergency shelter, providing food, medicine, social services and psychosocial support for children.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have GPS locations of every UNRWA facility and all movements of UN workers delivering aid are coordinated with the IDF in advance, he said.
"The longer the world kind of turns a blind eye to the violations of international humanitarian law in the Geneva Conventions, frankly the more they become irrelevant," he said.
"I think there's actors in the world who are standing by watching and noting this indifference and, you know, it starts in Gaza, but it might not end there."
Hamas says that its negotiators have reiterated its readiness to implement an "immediate" ceasefire with Israel in Gaza, based on a previous US proposal without new conditions from any party.
The Palestinian group said in a statement that its negotiation team, led by senior official Khalil al-Hayya, met mediators in Doha on Wednesday.
The mediators included Qatar's Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and Egypt's intelligence chief Abbas Kamel.
Talks have so far failed to reach a deal to end the 11-month-old war.
CIA director William Burns, who is also the chief US negotiator on Gaza, said on Saturday that a more detailed ceasefire proposal would be made over the next days.
The previous proposal, put forward by US President Joe Biden in June, laid out a three-phase ceasefire in return for the release of Israeli hostages.
The war in Gaza started after a Hamas terror attack on Israel on October 7, where 1,200 people were killed and 250 taken hostage, according to Israeli tallies.
Israel's offensive has thus far killed at least 41,084 Palestinians and wounded 95,029 others, the Gaza health ministry says.

Humanitarian staff, premises and operations have been "blatantly" and "unabatedly disregarded" since the beginning of the war in Gaza, says UNRWA commissioner-general Philippe Lazzarini.
"The longer impunity prevails, the more international humanitarian law & the Geneva conventions will become irrelevant," Lazzarini said in a post on X.
At least 220 UNRWA staff have been killed in Gaza since the beginning of the war, he said.
He described the situation in Gaza as "endless & senseless killing, day after day".
