Andrew Brayshaw named best on ground

Fremantle star Andrew Brayshaw wins the Arthur Leggett Medal after a best-on-ground performance.

Brayshaw tallied up 37 disposals (17 contested), nine score involvements, eight inside 50s and six clearances.

"He's been brilliant all year, he'd absolutely be in the All-Australian calculations," says Leigh Montagna on Fox Footy post-game.

FT: Fremantle 12.13 (85) defeats Adelaide 9.13 (67)

Fremantle with a comfortable win to round out Anzac Day in 2025!

A couple of late goals for Adelaide made the scoreline look a little more respectable, but this was a dominant showing from Freo, which was in control all evening.

A big result for the Dockers after the disappointing loss to Melbourne last week at the MCG.

Andrew Brayshaw outstanding with 37 disposals and six clearances, while Josh Treacy, Oscar McDonald, Michael Frederick and Jye Amiss all kicked two goals apiece.

A disappointing night at the office for the Crows, who will be left to rue some poor set shot kicking.

Adelaide is normally so clinical in front of goal, but sprayed shot after shot, which ultimately doomed its comeback attempt.

Keays misses a set shot from directly in front

Oh no Ben Keays has sprayed a set shot and that might do the Crows I reckon!

It was already seeming like an uphill task for Adelaide, but that shot just about does it.

Walker outmuscles Pearce amid boos

Taylor Walker is on the scoreboard after taking an excellent contested mark against Alex Pearce, and kicking a set shot!

The crowd isn't too impressed with that, there's boos all over the ground after the replay is shown on the big screen.

There's just under five minutes remaining. The Crows need five goals to win it.

Thilthorpe goals after his return

It looks like Riley Thilthorpe's hand is all good!

He takes a mark on the lead and then drills a set shot from 40m out on a slight angle to keep the Crows in it.

He's up to 19 goals on the season, one behind Josh Treacy on the Coleman Medal leaderboard.

The margin is 30 points Fremantle's way with just over eight minutes left.

Time running out for the Crows

We've got 10 minutes of game time to go.

It's been a scratchy old quarter from Freo so far, but they're doing enough to hold onto their lead.

Crows with just the one goal this quarter so far.

Neal-Bullen kicks Adelaide's first of the half

Alex Neal-Bullen snaps truly from an acute angle to give Adelaide some hope!

Some lovely handballs from the Crows in the lead-up to that, particularly one from Tex Walker which was as good as a kick.

Some real hard running from Neal-Bullen as well to get in position to kick that goal.

Adelaide with a little pulse then...

Thilthorpe back on the ground for the final quarter

Good news for Adelaide as Riley Thilthorpe takes his spot out on the ground to start the final quarter.

It'll be interesting to see whether that hand issue bothers him at all in marking contests.

Thilthorpe has virtually every finger on his left hand taped up including his ring finger and pinky finger being taped together.

3QT: Fremantle 12.8 (80) leads Adelaide 5.8 (38)

An absolutely dominant third quarter has Fremantle heading towards a big win here in Perth!

They were challenged in the second quarter, but they came out of the gates like a team possessed in the third, kicking 4.2 to 0.4 for the quarter.

The Dockers were helped out by some relatively gettable set shot misses from the Crows, it must be said.

Fremantle star Andrew Brayshaw was instrumental in that third quarter. He's got 27 disposals and five clearances.

Caleb Serong leads all players with 28 disposals and nine clearances. What a duo they are!

Riley Thilthorpe went into the rooms under an injury cloud and returned back onto the bench, so it looks like he might be alright to come back onto the ground in the final term.
