Thanks for being with us

Not a sight that Australian fans want to see, as Maro Itoje lifts the Ella-Mobbs trophy.

But the Wallabies don't have to wait long to make amends.

Australia are back in action next weekend against Italy in Udine, which is in the north west of the country right near the Slovakian border, if you're interested.

Luke Pentony will take you through that one, but from me, it's goodnight (morning?) and we'll see you next time.

Harry Wilson 'very disappointed'

Harry Wilson is speaking now to the host broadcaster.

"We're very disappointed," he says.

"Credit to England, they played really well, they played the conditions well.

"We just didn't get [our attack] right on the day.

"There was a lot of good today, but to score points you've gotta score in the a zone and we weren't good enough today.

"They played a very good game. Credit to them."

Joe Schmidt: 'We struggled'

Joe Schmidt is talking on Stan Sport.

"I felt we hung in, in the first half," he says.

"We were pretty competitive.

"We had a couple of chances we didn't take, probably got a bit lucky with the one we did.

"It was a real see saw affair.

"I felt they really got the better of us in the second half, they're a really good team, particularly that last quarter.

"We struggled in that last quarter.

"It definitely made a difference, that [England] bench.

He says the Wallabies are going to have to "massively improve" if they are to do well against Italy next week.

Ben Earl is player of the match

He has been speaking on British TV channel, TNT Sports.

"I loved being back here and being back home," he says.

"It wasn't always the prettiest but I am glad we got a win today.

"I think the experience over the last 18 months helped coming here today.

"A year ago we may not have won that game, so I am really pleased."

'Dreadful' Wallabies 'The worst I have seen them ever'

My word, World Cup winning scrum half Matt Dawson has not held back on what he thought about the Wallabies' performance.

"Australia were dreadful," he said.

"The worst I have seen them ever."

Wow.

But wait, there's more...

"Australia were so disjointed, it was a woeful performance."

FT: Wallabies fall to defeat

England were just too strong, too clinical and applied their game plan too well for the Wallabies today.

England win this one 25-7.

The Wallabies just didn't have the cohesion between the forward and backs, it was a struggle for the Wallabies from the off really.

The only try the Wallabies scored was a 95-metre breakaway.

That's an eighth-straight win for England in internationals.

80+4' Henry Pollock is sin binned

Repeat infringements, he was the one who was offside.

The Wallabies will tap again.

But the Wallabies can't get over the line, held up by England.

80+3' Wallabies penalty

Offside against England 5 metres out.

Wallabies take it quickly.

80+2' Wallabies penalty!

Ellis Genge is the man picked out of that for putting his shoulder into Alaalatoa.

But I'm surprised Salakaia-Loto is not pinged for getting involved needlessly.

Wallabies go to the corner.

80' Ellis Genge and Allan Alaalatoa get into each other!

They clashed earlier and now they're back into each other again.

AND NOW IT'S REALLY ON!

Lukhan Salakaia-Loto raced in and got himself into a mele with a handful of English players.

I have no idea why he wanted to come in.
