Logan Paul is saving his words for Jake Paul

Logan Paul is talking backstage.

"I do have words for him, I'm gunna save them for him. They're special," he says.

Nerves must be palpable for everyone who is associated with Jake Paul right now.

We are moments away from the fight getting underway.

Does Jake Paul deserve credit?

Just for stepping in the ring?

Perhaps.

It's an absurd, stupid fight.

"Crazy" is what Lennox Lewis just said on Netflix's coverage.

But when he talked a good game after fighting YouTuber KSI's younger brother Deji Olatunji, Paul was challenged to fight a real boxer.

He did that, albeit boxers who were over the hill or MMA fighters who were also over the hill.

Now he's taking on someone who is still at the very top of the sport.

You can't say anything else other than he has answered his critics in that regard.

Who is going to win?

Every fibre of every boxing fans' being says that Anthony Joshua is going to win this fight.

But he needs to win this by knock out and convincingly to restore any sort of credibility - if he hasn't lost it already.

Anything less than a KO inside three rounds would be absurd for Joshua.

But it's hard to chase someone around the ring.

Looking for a knockout is like watching a boiling pot of water - it never seems to quite get there.

Are there questions about Joshua's chin?

Maybe? He was knocked out in his last fight and was knocked out on his first appearance in the USA against Andy Ruiz, a much smaller man.

Will Jake Paul just go in and windmill to try and land a lucky shot and shock the former heavyweight champ?

Is it going to be a fix? 'No way'

There has been some discussion that this fight will not be allowed to be done "properly".

That there is a no knock out clause.

That Anthony Joshua has been told that he needs to keep it going for the full eight rounds.

It's a theory that has been rubbished by the fighters and Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn.

"Firstly, we'd be investigated by the FBI if it was. It would be illegal. This is a professional contest and a sanctioned bout where people are betting on it," he wrote in a BBC collumn.

"And do you think I would ever allow AJ to have a script with Jake? A script where we might lose or even hold him up and look bad?

"No way."

Jake Paul: 'Yall YouTubers now'

Anthony Joshua said during the week that he was being charged with saving boxing.

Jake Paul says that the roles are really reversed.

Should this fight be happening?

There is a quote attributed to five-weight world champion Sugar Ray Leonard but no doubt stated by hundreds of others across the history of this sport that hits to the heart of this question.

"You don't play boxing."

Jake Paul has made himself into a boxer.

Is it a game he is playing?

Using his profile and prestige and money, Paul has essentially devoted himself to the sport and turned himself into a moderately successful novice boxer.

This is where the game gets serious.

He has never fought a proper boxer in their prime.

Anthony Joshua is, perhaps not in his prime, but is still a proper boxer.

For that reason alone this is a fight that should never have been sanctioned. The British Board of Control said they wouldn't have touched it with a barge pole.

The Florida commission saw the dollar signs though and so here we are.

But let's not beat around the bush. This is a dangerous prospect. A foolish prospect.

Too many experienced boxers have been seriously hurt, even died in the ring.

I don't think it should be happening.

Jake Paul is ready, and up next
Netflix problems for some...

We did see some people have issues with their connection to Netflix during the Paul-Tyson fight.

Seems like some people are having issues again.

Baumgardner gives herself an A+

Alycia Baumgardner is speaking in the ring now.

"I gave myself an A+ [tonight]," she said.

"It's been an emotional rollercoaster, I did this for my dad.

"I gave myself an A+ for showing up.

"I buried by dad last year, and it's been a tough transition."

She credits her opponent's heart for staying in there with her.

"I'm not disappointed [I didn't get the knock out]," she says.

"It just shows the level of skill. We just did 12 rounds."

Baumgardner, behind swelling eyes, says "she didn't hurt me at all" and that three minutes "suits my style".

Alycia Baumgardner claims the unanimous decision win

Two judges have it 117-110, the other has it 118-109.

Alycia Baumgardner wins and retains her unified championship belts.

A comfortable win in the end.
