Another superb Wimbledon final. Novak Djokovic gave a graceful speech, admitting he won a few Wimbledon finals he shouldn't have so maybe now he's even. Praised Alcaraz for his quick switch to playing on grass after taking out the Queens title and now Wimbledon.

These two players now hold all the titles - Djokovic the current Australian and French champion and Alcaraz adding Wimbledon to his US Open crown. Hopefully we'll see them meet in more finals to come.

He does it! Djokovic is downed at Wimbledon. Carlos Alcaraz claims his maiden Wimbledon title and his second grand slam after winning the US Open last year. A cracking final. Could have easily gone the way of Djokovic but the Spaniard got the crucial break in the fifth set and wasn't giving it up after that.
