A tough one for Johnson and Warriors fans. Johnson had led the Dally M race for most of the second-half of the season but Ponga got the points when they needed them, steering the Knights to 11 on the trot and that was all she wrote.
The Newcastle Knights have two of the best in Ponga and the Upton. Shaun Johnson was beaten by one point. Brutal.
Tamika Upton from the Newcastle Knights has been named the NRLW Dally M medalist
