That will do it for the blog. I'll leave you with the report from the bout. Thanks for tuning in and enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

Scotney, when asked what won her the fight: "Boxing. If I was to stand there and have a fight with her, she was very vocal and her character matched how she boxed. I just had to use my boxing ability and that's what I did."

Scotney: "I'm not too happy with my performance, but I think that's probably the case with me all the time.

"I feel like I hurt her at times, but then I just looked for too many singles. She was a tough girl. I've got so much respect for her. She was 20-0. I've never fought anyone easy and it will continue that way. Hopefully I'll get some credit now, because no one really puts respect on my name."

Scotney adds the IBO title to her collection (IBF, WBO and Ring Magazine). Surely she targets Yamileth Mercado next.

The BoxRec rankings have already updated: Motu down from No 2 to No 7 and Scotney up from No 5 to No 2.

Ellie Scotney beats Mea Motu by unanimous decision

The three judges scored the bout 99-91 x3.

End of fight

Ellie Scotney will win a comfortable decision here. I have it 97-93 in her favour

Motu needs a hail mary KO to win now. 30sec to go.

More of the same as Motu walks forward; Scotney landing when Motu gets into range.

Final round - FIGHT

The fighters hug before they fight resumes.

End of 9

Potentially another round for Motu simply because Scotney wasn't throwing a whole lot in that round. Scotney did, however, land the best shot.
