Former Celebrity Treasure Island champion Matty McLean will be interviewing James Mustapic live on Breakfast tomorrow morning.

The winner for Celebrity Treasure Island 2023 has been crowned after a frantic finish.

A teary Mustapic said every step of the competition has been a "pinch me moment".

Mustapic is donating his $100,000 winnings to Gender Minorities Aotearoa. 

"They do amazing work lifting up and supporting trans people who need it, they are a small charity and being part of the queer community I feel so honoured to be giving them this money."

The girls have teamed up, playing a card against Mustapic at their last shot to take home $100,000.

The contestants are on to the next challenge. 

The three finalists are neck and neck trying to solve a compass puzzle.

Once solved, it will point them in the direction of the hidden treasure. 

Frustration between the three finalists is building. 

Mustapic says he needs to win the competition, "for my charity and my sanity." 

There's no clear winner yet, it's anyone's game. 

Things are heating up and Mustapic says he's "feeling the pressure" as the first challenge of the night is well underway. 

The first challenge is underway for the three final contestants. 

Nerves are setting in as Turia Schmidt-Peke, James Mustapic, and Courtney Dawson fight for $100,000.
